At The Fort Restaurant, we pride ourselves on delivering an unforgettable Colorado dining experience. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our family. As the front desk Lead, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our Guests, ensuring their satisfaction from the moment they walk through our doors. The Lead will have supervisory responsibilities of managing the desk and will be expected to manage and coach the other crewmembers working at the desk.
Requirements:
-Previous Lead front desk experience in a fine dining restaurant 3 years.
-Positive, upbeat and friendly demeanor.
-Self-starter, reliable, and trustworthy.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-OpenTable experience
-Toast POS experience a plus.
Willing to work weekends. Shifts are Thursday-Sunday approx. 4:00-9:00.
Job Responsibilities:
-Answering phones and helping Guests with reservations.
-Greeting upon arrival and directing the assistant host where to seat them.
-Maintaining the proper "flow" of the dining room.
-Training and coaching assistants as they are hired.
-Coaching the front desk staff to uphold opening/closing checklists standards.
-Willing to be trained as a back up for occasional closing duties for the restaurant and balancing the cash drawer.
Leadership:
-Ability to listen generously and take necessary coaching when needed.
-Ability to multi-task under pressure.
-Assume positive intent with crew members and Guests.
-Treat each other like family. If an issue occurs each person acts with respect and communicates in a professional manner to solve the problem.
-Be humble. Make sure all decisions and actions are solely based on advancing team goals and serving crewmembers and Guests with a full heart.
-Do the right thing always. Integrity is not a part-time job. Aways tell the truth and if make a mistake, take responsibility.
